This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Clark county. I've never had a bad experience here, and we eat here about once every other month. Staff are very friendly.
We ordered takeout from this restaurant a few days ago. They quoted us about 45 minutes, but our food was not ready when we arrived. It took a total of about an hour for our food to be ready (from the time we called). We ordered pork fried rice, lo mein, sesame chicken, kung pao chicken and potstickers. The potstickers were good, as was the lo mein. The rice was good, but they don't actually cook the meat with the rice - they just throw some large chunks of meat on top, so we chopped it up and stirred it into the rice. The sesame chicken was good, but it didn't really taste like sesame chicken. The kung pao chicken was not great - it was lightly breaded, not spicy at all, and lacked much flavor. Overall, we will definitely order from here again, but we will try different entrees next time. Also, the prices on the menu photos here on Yelp are inaccurate. From the photos, I estimated our total to be about $45-$50, but it was actually almost $70, so they've definitely gone up in price since those menu photos were posted.
Best fried rice I've ever had! The service is quick and the food is always delicious. I always get General Tso's chicken and the fried shrimp. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for good Chinese food!
Just had a great(and dinner+) at Happy Family Restaurant, Battle Ground, WA the food was very good, I've been going there for years.
We really enjoy this place. We come here pretty often as I can basically see the restaurant from my house. I prefer this restaurant over the other Chinese restaurant in town. I generally order off the "Garret Combo" best bang for your buck in my opinion. The orange chicken is always good, fried rice is great, crab puffs are delicious, and the sweet and sour is great too. My husband ventured off his usual and got the sizzling pan fried noodles and was pretty disappointed. Noodles were hard and not a lot. This special is kinda spendy so his expectation was pretty high. The service is good dinning in or taking out, the cashier is always running around but always happy. The ambience of the establishment is so-so but I honestly don't really care as we typically take it to go. I know they have been around for a long time so I just love supporting them as much as I can!
